Data logging

MS2-net has a microSD slot for recording data locally, with no need for a connected PC.

What is recorded

• NMEA-0183: standard position/navigation sentences (GGA, RMC, GSV, …), readable by any GIS or surveying software.
• Raw GNSS data from the ZED-F9P module for post-processing (PPK) and conversion to standard formats.

NMEA sentence	Content
GGA	position (lat/lon/height), fix quality, no. of satellites
RMC	position, speed, date/time
GSA / GSV	satellites used and in view, DOP
VTG	course and speed over ground

Where the data goes --------------------

• microSD: local recording on the card (stand-alone logging).
• Bluetooth / USB: real-time NMEA streaming to field apps or a PC.

Note

Exact file formats, naming and logging rate depend on the firmware configuration. *(details to be confirmed)*

Tip

For real-time RTK positioning alone, the NMEA output is enough. Raw data logging is needed when you want to **reprocess** the data afterwards (PPK) or analyse measurement quality.
