Quick start

This page summarises the steps to get MS2-net up and running for the first time.

First start

1. Antenna: connect the active GNSS antenna and place it under an open sky.
2. Power: power MS2-net via USB-C (or a charged battery).
3. Power-on: the OLED display shows the status; the RGB LED indicates activity.
4. Configuration: on first start, set up the network and the RTK parameters from the portal (see ../configurazione).

Connecting to the network

• WiFi: connect to the AP portal and enter your own network (SSID/password).
• Ethernet: plug in the network cable; set DHCP or a static IP (see ../ethernet).

Getting an RTK fix

1. Configure the corrections (NTRIP client or base — see ../rtk-ntrip).
2. With the antenna under an open sky, wait for satellite acquisition.
3. Check the transition from RTK float → RTK fixed on the display.
