File Manager
Where: Panel › File Manager · Serial menu s → f (list only)
Shows the content of the microSD card and lets you download, upload and delete files, or format the card, without taking it out of the MS2net reference station.

Figure 1 — Animation: choosing a file
Opening the section reads the list from the card; a tick chooses a file for the buttons.
The list is read again every time the section is opened. With no card in the slot the
section is not shown: after inserting one, reload the page. The first line gives size and
free space, for example SD Size: 29.7 GB / Free: 28.9 GB. A card that answers but cannot
be read is reported as SD card not readable: use Format SD to erase it: if it holds
recordings you need, try reading it on a PC first.
File list
One row per file, with Name and Size; the box in the header row ticks or unticks them all. The files the station writes:
| File | What it is |
|---|---|
MS2_YYMMDD_HHMMSS.ubx |
a recording (see MicroSD logging) |
MS2_Settings_N.txt |
the copy of the settings of profile N+1 |
StationCoordinates-ECEF_N.csv, StationCoordinates-Geodetic_N.csv |
the lists of base coordinates of profile N+1 |
The serial menu (s → f) only lists the files, with date and size.
Buttons
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete | Deletes the ticked files after a confirmation (Delete N files?), then reads the list again. |
| Download | Downloads the ticked files one after the other (Downloading file 1 of N..., then Download complete); the browser may ask once whether to allow multiple downloads. With nothing ticked: No files selected. |
| Upload | Copies a file from the PC to the card, with a progress bar, then Please wait, writing file to filesystem and Upload Complete. |
| Format SD | Erases the whole card, see below. |
- One operation at a time: while one runs, the buttons are grey.
- An uploaded file with the name of one already on the card replaces it; an upload cut short (page closed, connection lost) leaves no half file.
- A refused upload shows Upload Failed and the reason, for example a name longer than 63 characters or another transfer in progress.
Format SD
Erases everything on the card, recordings and settings copies included, and prepares it again: it is the way to recover a card the station cannot read. The page asks twice (Format the SD card? ALL files (logs and settings) will be erased!, then Are you REALLY sure? This cannot be undone.), then shows Formatting SD card, please wait... and Format complete with the list read again. It can take a minute or more on a large card; on failure: Error: format failed.
It cannot be undone
Download the recordings you need before formatting: nothing can be recovered afterwards.
